The purpose of TFA is to strengthen and grow the network of members, organizations, and community partners to enhance the overall lives of aging Tennesseans through education, advocacy, social and professional connections, resources and supports.

EDUCATION
Through conferences, webinars, partnerships, and collaborations with like-minded organizations, TFA aims to educate the network of aging professionals, organizations, and general public by bringing together older adults and people who serve them, providing opportunities to learn the needs and contributions of aging Tennesseans.

ADVOCACY
TFA is committed to identifying the needs of aging Tennesseans and advocating for policies that may fill gaps or eliminate barriers prohibiting access to meet those needs of individuals across the state. Its advocacy efforts are designed to promote access to individuals and the systems that support those individuals.

TFA is a vast community of members, organizations, individuals, partnerships, industries, advocates, educators, and more, who, by working together, fostering open communication, and valuing the transformative impact of collaboration, are able to effect a change for aging Tennesseans. The network of members and partners provides deep and meaningful resources to aging Tennesseans of all means and needs and continues to grow and evolve with the needs of those we serve.
